An advisory firm built across two markets.
Visionlist Venture is a strategic advisory firm serving companies, investors, and institutions operating between the United States and Greater China. The firm advises on capital markets strategy, private markets transactions, and enterprise AI transformation.
The firm grew out of Visionlist Commons, a U.S. 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2022 to advance cross-border entrepreneurship. Over four years of convening summits, forums, and investor dialogues — from Southern California to Shanghai — the organization built the network and institutional relationships that today form the foundation of the firm's advisory practice.
The firm has advised on cross-border engagements spanning artificial intelligence, aerospace, and consumer technology, and maintains working relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and public officials on both sides of the Pacific.
What sets the practice apart
Two-way corridor
Most cross-border advisors serve one direction of travel. The firm is built for both — helping U.S. companies engage Asia, and Asian companies establish credibility and capital access in the United States.
Sector depth over breadth
The firm concentrates on frontier technology — artificial intelligence, aerospace, and adjacent sectors — where its operating experience and network provide a genuine information advantage.
Institutional discretion
Engagements are confidential by default. The firm works with a limited number of clients at a time and does not disclose client names without consent.
Led by an operator with experience on both sides of the table

Fiona Zhang founded Visionlist Venture after building Visionlist Commons into a cross-border platform connecting founders, investors, and institutions across the United States and Greater China. Her career began in technology at Microsoft, and she has since operated at the intersection of artificial intelligence, capital markets, and cross-border commerce.
She has been recognized as an AACYF U25 Leader and an APEA Young Leader, and has spoken at and judged forums including the ZLead Global Tech Entrepreneurship Conference, the SoCal Entrepreneurship Annual Summit, the MIT GenAI Pitch Competition, and the Global Youth Entrepreneurship AI Summit in Dubai. She is the author of The Edge and the Clouds: Notes on Business, Humanity, and Becoming.
The firm is supported by an advisory network of operators, investors, and capital markets specialists across Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, and Hong Kong.
